Do you get excited about managing international air freight shipments from A to Z? This is your opportunity. As an Air Freight Forwarder, you'll work directly for an international company with Chinese roots. From their modern office and in-house warehouse in Hoofddorp, you’ll ensure shipments are airborne on time and delivered safely to their final destination.
You’ll purchase cargo space, coordinate with airlines, manage transport partners, and handle all the required documentation. You’ll join a small, close-knit team that values cooperation—and fun. Think company outings, team lunches, and summer BBQs.
Key Responsibilities
Purchase cargo space with international airlines
Plan and coordinate air freight shipments from start to finish
Prepare and manage air waybills and transport documentation
Communicate with customers, carriers, and airline partners
Organize pickups from clients and deliveries to airports
Monitor shipment progress and proactively manage any delays
Ensure accurate and timely deliveries to the final destination
Accurately enter all shipment details in the transport system
Who You Are
Proven experience as an air freight forwarder
Able to obtain a Certificate of No Objection (VGB screening)
Fluent in Dutch or English (both is a plus)
Detail-oriented, structured, and proactive
Available full-time, Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00
